Glen Tullman is the Executive Chairman and Founder of Livongo Health (Nasdaq: LVGO), the consumer first digital health pioneer committed to empowering people with chronic conditions to live better and healthier lives. He is dedicated to finding a cure for diabetes and other chronic conditions—and to keeping people healthy until these cures are found.
A visionary leader and entrepreneur, he previously ran two public companies that changed the way health care is delivered. Prior to Livongo, Tullman served as Chief Executive Officer of Allscripts, which was, during his tenure, the leading provider of electronic health records, practice management, and electronic prescribing systems. He took Allscripts public. Prior to Allscripts, he was Chief Executive Officer of Enterprise Systems, which he also took public and then sold to McKesson/HBOC. He is the author of On Our Terms: Empowering the New Health Consumer, in which he proposes new solutions to address the chronic-condition epidemic facing our country.
A strong proponent of philanthropy, Tullman was honored in 2019 with a Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Ripple of Hope Award for his career focused on improving the safety, empathy, and efficiency of our healthcare system. He also serves as a Chancellor to the International Board of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and as a Board Member of the American Diabetes Association. Tullman has three amazing children that inspire him every day.
Zane Burke is the Chief Executive Officer of Livongo. Burke previously spent five years as president of Cerner Corporation, a $5.1 billion publicly-traded healthcare IT company where he worked for more than two decades transforming healthcare around the globe and building relationships with the top health systems in the world. While there, Burke held various senior executive roles in sales, strategy, finance, and operations. He also led direction and strategy around solutions and services, new business efforts, revenue generation, policy, federal involvement and marketing. With a wide range of expertise and tenure across sales, support and finance roles, Burke leads with an integrated business mind-set and a continuous focus on client relationships across all segments of the healthcare market. Burke sits on the Boards of the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives and Truman Medical Centers. He earned his undergraduate degree and MBA from Kansas State University.
Dr. Jennifer Schneider is the President of Livongo. In this role, she is responsible for product, data science, engineering, marketing, and clinical operations. Dr. Schneider previously served as the company’s Chief Medical Officer where she led the company’s strategic clinical product vision, data science, clinical trials, and the organization’s certified diabetes educators and coaches. Prior to Livongo, Dr. Schneider held several key leadership roles at Castlight Health, most recently as Chief Medical Officer. She also has held leadership roles in the provider setting as a health outcomes researcher and Chief Resident at Stanford University, and has practiced medicine as an attending physician at Stanford University, the VA Palo Alto Health Care System, and Kaiser Permanente. Dr. Schneider has an undergraduate degree from the College of the Holy Cross, a Doctor of Medicine degree from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, and a Master of Science degree in Health Services Research from Stanford University. She completed her internal medicine residency at Stanford University Hospital. Dr. Schneider is a frequent speaker about innovation in healthcare, where she shares her unique perspective as a practicing physician, health services researcher, senior executive and individual who has lived with Type 1 diabetes for more than 30 years. She has three children and is an avid runner and athlete, having completed her first IronMan in 2016.
